Issue Position

The First Amendment to the Constitution gives Americans the right to religious freedom. As such everyone should be allowed to practice their own beliefs without interference from the Government. However, it was the belief of the founding fathers and the leaders today of a divine power; God. Laws have been put in place where the notion of God is on everything that our government has dealings with.

In my own life I put my faith first. My religious beliefs help guide my life and help me make moral decisions. My belief is that God has truly blessed our nation. When we begin to move away from our religious beginning and moral views it only leaves us moving to a path of destruction.
